Beyond Your Backyard - TV Series with Erik the Travel Guy

Emmy award-winning television personality Erik Hastings, a.k.a. Erik the Travel Guy spent some time at the Maple Shade Mansion on his return visit to the PA Great Outdoors Region last spring.   His educational travel series is aired on the public broadcasting system (PBS) and is seen by millions each week. 

Erik’s enthusiasm and passion for travel is shared with his viewers as he uncovers the rich history and culture of every place he visits, whether it’s a famous attraction or an area ‘off the beaten path’.
