Maple Shade Mansion Policies
HOUSE POLICIES:
REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations received more than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled arrival date. For cancellations made between seven (7) days and twenty-four (24) hours prior to arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. However, at the sole discretion of Maple Shade Mansion Bed & Breakfast, a gift certificate for the amount of the deposit may be issued for use toward a future stay. Gift certificates are non-transferable and subject to any applicable expiration dates and booking restrictions.
The full package rate will be charged to the credit card on file for no-shows, early departures, cancellations, or reservation changes made within twenty-four (24) hours of arrival (after 3:00 p.m. EST on the day prior to check-in).
CHECK-IN is from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. (Early check-in may be requested for an additional $25.00, allowing guests to arrive at 1 p.m.)
CHECK-OUT is by 11:00 am. (Late stay may be requested for an additional $25.00, allowing guests to stay until 1 p.m.)
LATE ARRIVAL: Our staff will make every effort to meet when you arrive. However, if the doors are locked, you will be given specific instructions for entering the Mansion using our keyless digital security lock system.
KEYLESS ACCESS AND ENTRY SECURITY SYSTEM: The Maple Shade Mansion uses a convenient keyless entry security system eliminating the need for keys. Specific instructions will be given to you upon booking.
ROOM OCCUPANCY: Room occupancy is for 2 guests. Select rooms can accommodate additional guests for $35 per person. Only registered houseguests may enter the overnight rooms unless permission is granted in advance for visitors.
WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL GROUP BOOKINGS are bound by a negotiated contract. Please call the Mansion directly for more information.
TAX: A 6% Pennsylvania sales tax and 5% county bed tax will be added to your final bill.
RATES are valid for 2026 and are subject to change.
DISCOUNT: Stay four consecutive nights in the same room and receive a 10% discount.
PAYMENT: A 50% deposit is required. No reservation will be accepted without a deposit at the time of reservation. Accepted payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express
PARKING: Upon arrival at the Maple Shade Mansion, please park in the back of the Mansion and enter through the front door for check-in. Please provide us with a time of arrival to be sure the Innkeeper is here to greet you. We will provide you with directions for self-check-in for arrivals after hours.
DAMAGE FEE: Penalties will be incurred for damages or mistreatment of the facility.
MANAGEMENT has the right to remove disruptive guests.
CHILDREN: Although guests with young children are welcome at the Maple Shade Mansion B&B, the Mansion caters primarily to couples, families with older children and individuals on business or looking for a respite from the hectic pace of today’s world. The Mansion does not have high chairs, portable cribs or a regular children’s menu.
QUIET HOURS: 11pm-7am
SMOKING: Maple Shade Mansion is an entirely non-smoking facility. Nowhere within the confines of the property, indoors and outdoors, is smoking allowed. A penalty of $300 will be charged for smoking violations.
PETS: Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, but we will happily make a reservation for your pet(s) at our local kennel.
PERSONAL POSSESSIONS: While staying at the Maple Shade Mansion, we cannot assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. While we are confident in our security measures, we ask that you take the precautions that you deem necessary.
